Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop

If you're looking to tidy up your mess quickly, a robot vacuum cleaner and mop is the way to go. The top robot vacuums and mops that I test had superior navigation and mapping. They picked up Cheerios and fake dog turds, as well as wires that were tangled.

You can also schedule cleaning tasks through an app and monitor their progress.

1.  best rated robot vacuum

If you're searching for the most effective robot vacuum and mop combo that has cutting-edge features look no further than the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. This high-end vacuum is fast and agile, and it picked up pet hair and human dander almost flawlessly in our Debris Pickup Test. It comes with a sleek application interface that includes a mini-map of your home and buttons on the screen to allow manual control.

Another standout feature of the S8 is its ability to adjust its cleaning mode based on dirt levels, thanks to its Dirt Detection Technology. It will stop and clean its mopping pad more often when it encounters dust while it will prioritize carpeted areas to mop with a damp pad.

It's got a host of other smart features also, including an alternative dock that connects to the plumbing in your home to wash and clean the mop roller, without having you to refill it manually. You can also use voice commands with the built-in voice assistant of the S8 that can be activated by saying "Hey Rocky" to specify room cleaning, modes, and granular controls with your voice.

2. Yeedi Cube

If you're looking for a hands-off robot vacuum with mopping capabilities the Yeedi Cube is one of the more versatile options. It's one of the combo robot vacuums with mopping capabilities that are priced lower than other models.

Like most robovacs, the Yeedi Cube requires a little bit of work to get started, including creating an account on the official app of the manufacturer and connecting it to your WiFi network. Once you've completed that, the robot will begin to vacuum and mop with ease.

It is important to remember that the mapping process can take a while and the Yeedi Cube may need a few attempts before it has an accurate picture of your space. Additionally, object detection can be hit or miss; it was able to skim over furniture and other obstacles but was stuck on a loose tassel rug and had to turn itself over to free itself. These are minor flaws and the Yeedi Cube remains a great option for those looking for an all-purpose cleaning tool that can do it all.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete provides a three-in-one cleaning solution. Its mopping technology is advanced and features an inclination that is similar to hand scrubbing, which results in floors that are truly cleaned and not just cleaned. The vacuum stick that can be detached is a game changer that can get to places robot vacuums can't.

This model is nearly identical to the popular X2 Omni but with a slightly higher suction capacity of 8,700Pa and additional smart features. The upgraded RGBD sensor can learn your home better and offer dynamic obstacles avoidance. The smart app lets you customize the settings of your choice that include scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.

The X2 Combo also has self-preparation. Both the mop and vacuum robot return to their charging station at the end of each task to clean their pads, empty the dust bins, and put the debris in the self-sealing bag. This helps keep the system tidy and stops allergens from returning to the system. Its battery life is sufficient to clean large areas without requiring a charge mid-clean.

4. Eufy S1 Pro

As one of the premium robot vacuum and mop models, the Eufy S1 Pro offers impressive features for its price. It features an impressive 8,000 Pa suction, a rotary floor brush for carpets and an excellent obstacle avoidance. It also features an innovative mopping technique that uses a roller constantly sprayed with water to collect dirt and then deposit it in the water tank.

Its navigation system performed well. It stayed clear of the stairs and was able to navigate close to walls without crashing. However, it did struggle with finely engrained debris and was not always able to get rid of raised thresholds for rooms. The operating noise level is also high, and it could be less of a "set-and-forget" model than other models.

The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, has a docking systems that allow it to replenish its clean water tank, empty the dustbin as well as wash and dry the mop, and then empty its mop pad. This makes maintenance easier and lets the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors according to a regular schedule. You can control all its functions through the Eufy app, which provides an overview of the system and plenty of options for configuration.

5. Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum/mower is among the top mowers and vacuums that are available. It offers impressive vacuuming and mopping results. Its LIDAR mapping sensor can detect furniture legs and other obstacles with a decent precision, and the application lets users fine-tune the coverage of the map, define no-go zones, and customize cleaning preferences. The main roller brush of the Freo is also designed to prevent hair from wrapping around it, which can be an issue for many robotic vacuums.

The Mop Mode also impresses, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads that rotate at 180 RPM while applying upward pressure of up to 12N. The mopping system also incorporates intelligent carpet detection, lifting the pads up when they're in proximity to soft surfaces to avoid contaminating them with.

The docking station functions as an automated maintenance center that automatically washes and dry the mops, and refills them with detergent and distillate water. The base station comes with an integrated dust-processing system that compacts dust and allows for seven weeks of uninterrupted maintenance.

6. S10

A few hundred dollars cheaper than the S8 and this robot does a bang-up job of keeping my office clean and can also tackle the corners of my cramped apartment. It uses a laser mapping camera and laser to create a 3D map of your home so it knows what to stay clear of. In addition, unlike other vacuums that can mop it also has detection of objects and obstructions that avoids things like bowls and dog toys (but not poop!).

It has other great notable features, like the self-emptying dust bin and a mop pad that's self-washing and adjustable to the temperature of the water and a side-reaching sweeper brush that can reach areas other mops miss. You can also customize the settings for each room and set up cleaning schedules.

Like the S8, it has multi-room smart mapping that can differentiate between carpets, laminate and hardwood rugs with high-pile. And, if you want to cut down on time, it can skip cleaning rooms that aren't filthy. If you have a wide range of flooring in your house and don't want to spend more money on a Roborock with advanced mapping capabilities this is a great choice.

7. Q5 Pro

This robot is a great choice if you are looking for a robot that can do both regular daily maintenance and touch-ups for messy water stains. It comes with a variety of features like self-emptying dustbins and the water refill dock, and adjustable settings within the app. It's extremely quiet and is able to easily move around furniture legs or socks. It can't pick knots in the rug and its battery drains quicker than other models we test.

With a cost of less than $250 it's the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly powerhouse that packs serious suction and a handy automation into a slick design. It didn't perform as well in our mopping and mopping tests as the more expensive Roborock S8MaxV Ultra, but it still performed very well overall. It also includes a wide variety of cleaning modes to suit your needs, ranging from the low-power 'Quiet' option for lightweight debris to the more robust 'Turbo' mode that is ideal for carpeted rooms. It will even remove and reconnect the mop pads, and not leave your carpets soaked.

8. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is a great two-in-one robot vacuum and mop for people who live in small areas. It's very quiet and fast and does a good job of getting around tight spots. It also does a nice job of getting pet hair off carpeting.

It's smaller than many of its competitors, but doesn't sacrifice any features. It has good suction power and can be programmed to take pictures of every object it finds (i.e. chew toys, socks) and mark them in the app as 'not located' so that they won't be removed in future cleanings. Its photos are encrypted, and are not tied to your account.

It's great for vacuuming, but not as great in mopping. It uses disposable wet wipes that you clip to the bot's bottom, and it essentially drags them across your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal with water reservoirs and will automatically wash and attach their mopheads.
